會務現況
本會現已成立六個省、市退伍軍人協會，十九個縣、市協會、一個原住民協會，另有美國、加拿大等五個分會，均為本會分級組織。基層內部組織區分聯會及指導委員會，遍及鄉鎮市區。會員人數己逾三十萬人，正持續成長中，會員身份，包括學者專家、中央及地方民代、地方政府首長、自由職業律師、醫師以及工、農、商各界人士，年齡層涵蓋老、中、青三代。由於本會積極發展會務，從事各項運作，對國是表達意見，對國家安全、社會安定、民眾福祉表達主張，彰顯本會團結、愛國、反共、反台獨之堅定立場。三十年來已獲政府及廣大社會群眾肯定，並獲中央主管機關歷年評鑑為全國性績優社團。1997年本會觀察員身份參加WVF於漢城舉行之年會，並提出入會申請，WVF於2000年在巴黎舉行之57次理事會通過入會，並經過23次大會確認，本會以VAROC國家名稱為WVF之正式會員國，並為中華民國之唯一非政府組織會員。
Our organization and operation
VAROC was formally established and accredited on July 19, 1988. It is the largest civilian veterans service organization in the Republic of China (Taiwan); with 6 metropolitan branch offices, 19 city departments, 1 indigenous branch office, and 4 overseas branches. A total of 1900 posts. Total membership approximately is 300,000 as of January 2017. In year 2000, the VAROC has also been admitted to the World Veterans Federation (WVF) as a member of this world veterans service organization; and is the only NGO member in ROC(Taiwan).
